The Association of Washington International Student Affairs (AWISA) is a group of professionals who work in various educational institutions across Washington State and assist students from other countries.
They meet three times a year to exchange ideas, learn new skills, and collaborate on projects that promote international education. One of their meetings is the Spring 2023 AWISA Conference, which will take place on Friday, May 12, 2023 at Bellevue College. The conference will feature discussions on topics such as how to welcome and support international students, how to improve study abroad programs, how to teach English as a second language, and more.
